The PSEi Enters a Bull Market

Good news to all Philippine stock market investors out there, the PSEi has entered a bull market.  Last week, July 16, 2019, the PSEi closed at 8,365.29 which marked the index’s entry into the bull market.  This is the highest the PSEi has closed since way back April, 2018.

And to add to that good news, there’s still room for the PSEi to go even higher.   That is due to the forecast of stronger corporate earnings, slowing down of inflation and continued monetary stimulus.  The PSEi is now the best performer in Southeast Asia and one of the top gainers in Asia this year.

Another factor pushing the index higher is the stronger Peso; the Philippine Peso is one of the best-performing currencies in the region.

Contrary to how foreign investors were leaving the Philippine Stock market last year, they are now returning to investing in the Philippine stock market this year.

With these factors pushing the PSEi higher, some analysts believe that the PSEi could hit the 8,500 mark in the near term.

Today, the PSEi closed at 8,251.46, up by 4.63 points or 0.06%.  Still above the 8,000 level that the market had difficulties staying above previously.

Once again, this proves that investing in the stock market requires a lot of patience.  But the patience and discipline really pays off in up times like these.  Aside from the value appreciation of stocks, 3 of the stocks that I own and which were recommended by the Truly Rich Club paid some dividends.  They might have not been that significant, but what I did was to purchase additional shares with the dividends I earned, and those in turn will again keep on earning.

The cycle goes on, and with continuous patience and discipline my portfolio keeps on growing and helping me achieve my dream of retiring a multi-millionaire.

So what are you doing now to achieve your dreams? Do you also dream of retiring as a multi-millionaire? Start investing in the stock market now! Don’t over think, just start now!

To you becoming a multi-millionaire through stock investing!
